Tulsa Zoo

On Saturday, Mommy took me on my first trip to the zoo! I didn't really care too much for the animals, because I couldn't see most of them, although I really liked trying to pull the ear of the goat in the petting zoo.

The things I liked the most were riding the train and the carousel. In fact, I clapped the whole time we were on the carousel, because it was so much fun!

I also liked playing in the grass with Hallie. She tried to teach me how to crawl around in the grass, but I liked just feeling the grass with my hands and pulling it out of the ground and playing with it.

Mommy's favorite part was the arctic building. It was pretty hot outside, so she liked "chilling" by the big igloo inside for a while.

Jumperoo!

Look at the cool new toy Mommy got me at a garage sale! It's a lot of fun.

Sitting pretty!

I love to smile for the camera now. Anytime Mommy gets it out, I put on a big smile for her. I like to sit pretty and put on a happy face.

Xylophone Idol!

Mommy and I love to watch the show American Idol on television. I love music! Mommy bought me a xylophone, and I'm becoming very talented at it. I know with lots of practice, eventually I can be on xylophone idol!!!

Peek A Boo!

A new game I LOVE to play is Peek A Boo. I try to play it all the time. The other day, I was playing on a blanket on the floor and Mommy saw me like this:

Then when she said "Where's the baby?" I threw the blanket off and giggled. I thought it was really funny. Mommy did too!

Working from home, out to eat

This week wasn't the greatest. Mommy and I were both sick for part of the week. Thankfully, we're both feeling much better now. While I was sick, mommy worked from home one day. I think her keyboard is cool, and I always want to bang on the keys. Sometimes this gets on Mommy's nerves because she's trying to do something, and my key-banging keeps her from getting it done. So, she got me a keyboard of my own. It keeps me pretty entertained. Now I can work from home too!!!

Mommy and I went out to eat at a restaurant this week, too. Mommy let me sit in a big-girl high chair and let me order mashed potatoes off the menu! I'm such a grown up now!
