Evenings in the Park

Lately, we've been going to the park a lot in the evenings. It's lots of fun. They have a playground we get to play on, then we go for a walk. (Okay, I don't walk...I just ride in my stroller...either way, it's fun!)
My favorite thing to do is to swing on the baby swing.
Sometimes Mommy says I fly like Superbaby in it!

When I slow down, I think real hard about how to make myself go higher.
I figured out that kicking my legs makes me go higher. I'm pretty happy about that, so I clap for my accomplishments sometimes!

I also like to go down the slide on Mommy's lap. This pic was taken right when we got to the bottom, and Mommy was surprised at how fast we went!

I like to play on the play area. I like to hang on to the bars and stand up. Mommy says I look like I'm in jail. (See how I'm holding myself up? Mommy is just sitting next to me to make sure I'm safe, but I can keep myself up without any help at all!)

Of course, everything these days is a teether, so I like to chew on the bars. Mommy says that isn't sanitary, but I think it's fun. Sanitary must be overrated.

Jammin' at the Jones Center

Last Saturday, we went to see a band (or a guy...I'm not sure which it is exactly) called Benjamin Del Shreeve at the Jones Center. They were very loud, but I enjoyed the music. My bunny rattle liked it too. I made her move to the beat of the music. Mommy says I'm gonna be a great percussionist some day. (Whatever that means!) Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay long...big dark clouds came and lightening, and then it poured rain. We got soaked on the way to the car. It was still fun, although I was kinda sleepy.

I like to eat eat eat eat apples and bananas!

If you don't know that song, you should really learn it. It's fun! Mommy sings it to me when I'm eating, especially when I'm eating bananas! Here's a video of me feeding myself some bananas in my high chair.

I like hats!!!

When anyone has a hat on, I always try to swipe it. Luckily, Grammy's friend Ann got me a "Girl Power" hat before I was born, so I have a cute one to wear of my very own.

Standing up!

So now I really like to stand up in my crib when it's time for Mommy to get me out in the morning. Usually, I'm pretty quiet, but if she doesn't come after the first few times I say Ma-Ma, I start to yell a little. Mommy says I must have strong lungs and strong legs! After a while, my legs get tired, and I start to droop and lean on the side a little.
