My NEW Family!!!

Friday night of last week was an awesome night! My mommy married a man that loves her (and me) very much! His name is BJ, but I call him DaDa. I also now have a brand new step-sister (Josie) and step-brother (Declan). We're very excited to be a family!
The wedding was at a place called Tanyard Creek in Bella Vista. I got to see my first waterfall there. It's really pretty there.
Here is a picture of my Mommy and her new husband, and a couple of me with my brand new family!

Garage sale treasures!

Have I ever mentioned that my Mommy LOVES to go to garage sales? Yesterday she went with our friend Delanna, and found some awesome stuff for me. She got me a Halloween costume (you'll see that posted here in a couple of months!), and a couple of new toys!
One of the toys is a little electronic piano. I have one at my babysitter's, and I love it, so I was really excited to see one just like it in my bedroom! It has a little seat for me to sit on, but I really like sitting on my knees lately, so that's how I usually play it.

The other toy is a table with interchangable tops. Each top has buttons on it that make noise or play music. It's really cool! I like to stand up and play with it. I try to sing along with the music sometimes, too. (That's why my mouth is open in the second picture!)

Even with all these cool new toys in my room, I still like to play with my shoes. Here is a picture of me playing with my black flip flops. Mommy says that I'm going to be a shoe diva like her when I grow up. I think she's right!

Jhordan's birthday party!

Today, my big brother Jhordan turned 10 years old! On Wednesday, I got to go to his birthday party at this awesome place called Chuck E Cheese.
I got to eat pizza, and got really, really messy!

Jhordan danced with me in front of a big blue screen, and it put our pictures on the big TVs.

They had two big rats there (Mommy's words, not mine...). Mommy says she hates rodents, but I thought he was pretty cool. One was a robot rat that Jhordan held me in front of for a picture and the other was a fuzzy rat that held me and let me get a picture with him.

I had a really good time!!!

Eye doctor report

Sorry it's taken me a while to write about what happened when I went to the specialist to see what they wanted to do about my goopy eye. Everyone has been asking Mommy about it, so she's making me update today...

The doctor's appointment went well. The nurse put some stuff in my eye that made me cry and made my pupils get REALLY big! Then, Mommy and I played in the play area while we were waiting for the doctor. Here are some pictures of me when I was playing. As you can see, I was less than excited to be there.

The doctor said that my tear ducts seem to be getting better, so as long as Mommy's okay with it, we can hold off on doing surgery. Mommy is more than okay with me not having to go into an operating room, so for right now we're waiting. Hopefully, it will get better all on its own!

9 Months Old!

I finally got to go to the doctor for my 9 month check up this week! I weigh 19 pounds now, and am 28 inches long. That puts me in the 75th percentile for height and the 50th percentile for weight. The doctor says I'm perfect!
I'm going to a specialist this week to have them look at my right eye. It gets really goopy a lot. They say it's from a clogged tear duct. So, the doctor this week is going to tell Mommy if they want to do a surgery on me or not to make me all better.
This is my new favorite pose I like to do. You can see how my eye is goopy in it. Yuck, huh?

Josie's Birthday!

Last Saturday we had a party at the Jones Center to celebrate Josie's birthday. It was a lot of fun. We got to watch Trout Fishing in America, and the big kids got to play on waterslides. A lot of people came out. Look at how big the group was!

It was really hot out, so for a lot of the time, I just chilled out in my stroller.

But, there were lots of people there, so I got out of the stroller and hung out with them too. Do you know who my two favorite people to hang out with there were? Jhordan and Alexa! My big brother and my big sister! I hadn't seen them in a while, so they were amazed by how big I am now and how much I can do. I hardly recognized Jhordan with his long hair!

They tried to share their 3D glasses with me, but I just took them back off.

It was a really fun night!

Fun City!

There's a cool place here in town called Fun City. I guess they call it that because it's a lot of fun, and maybe because it's in the city? Anyway, I went there a few times when I was a little baby, but it's so much more fun now that I'm a big girl!!! I used to only be able to sit and watch everyone else play, but now I can play too!

I get to ride in the fire truck, just like my Paw Paw who was a fireman when he was alive. (I think the trucks he rode on were a little bigger and went a little faster, though!) Declan rode with me to keep me safe in the seat belt!

I can crawl on the toddler slide and (kind of) go down all by myself.

I can play Whack-A-Mole with Mommy. (Although I thought it was more fun to try and reach in the holes to pull them out than it was to try and whack them with the big mallet!)

I can't wait till I get even bigger so I can do even more of the fun stuff at Fun City!
