Splish Splash Time!

I've always really loved bath time, but now that I'm getting bigger, it's even more fun! I don't have to sit in my baby tub anymore...I get to have the whole big tub all to myself. Playing in the bath is super fun!

I like it when people drip water on my head with a cup. I always try to catch the water drops.

Sometimes, I like to show off my big muscles!

I love to put my toys on my head and say "HAT!"

In this picture, Mommy had made a loud noise in the bathroom and it startled me. She thinks the look on my face is funny.

Fall Migration

Last night, Mommy and DaDa took me to the park to see ALL the geese that are there right now. Mommy said they are migrating south right now since it's starting to get colder. There are sooo many geese there! We fed them old bread, and they liked it a lot.

I made special friends with this guy. We had a staring contest, and he stayed right next
to me for a long time. He tried to talk to me. It sounded like a horn honking.

There were a lot of ducks at the park, too. Ducks are my very favorite animal in the whole world. I like the white ones the best, because they look the most like the ones in the books I have.

Bow Head

Yesterday, the ladies at Mommy's work threw her a wedding shower. She got lots of nice things. The ladies made her wear her bows on her head, and when she came to pick me up from Miss Shirley's, I really wanted one of the bows! So, Mommy let me wear one. Cute, huh?

Ice Cream!

I love ice cream!!!
It makes me happy!

When Mommy doesn't give me more, I give her the evil eye.

Afterwards, I get worn out, and have to rest on the table.

Luau!

My friend Abri turned 8 last weekend, so we went to her birthday party. It was a luau. Luaus are cool because people get to wear flowers around their necks called leis and do the limbo.
Here is a picture of Abri opening her gift from me.

Here I am enjoying my lei and hulaing.

And here I am after I got tired of hulaing and was ready for Mommy to hold me again.

The limbo was my favorite thing. Mommy said I didn't do it right, but I thought being able to crawl under the blow-up stick was pretty fun. Maybe in a few months when I can walk without people holding my hands, I can try to do it the right way.

Dinner with the fam

Last Saturday night, our family got together for dinner. Mommy dressed me up in a pretty outfit and put a bow in my hair with a teeny-tiny ponytail sticking out the top. (Look hard in the picture above! It's hard to see it against the background of the couch...)

At dinner, it was me, Mommy, my Grammy (who is one of my favorite people in the whole world!), Grandpa Gary, my Great-Aunt Bev and Great Uncle Bub (who is another one of my favorites!), my Great-Aunt Marilyn and Great-Uncle Billy, and my Great-Great-Aunt Maxine! We had yummy soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, and we got to eat birthday cake for Grammy's birthday.

I was really happy to see my Grammy, cuz she's been sick. She is feeling much better right now.

Bub has loved to play with me ever since I was a little tiny baby. He makes me giggle.

I got a present! They are cool stacking turtles. By the time Mommy took a picture of me with one of them, I was getting tired, though. The look on my face in this picture isn't lack of enthusiasm, it's just exhaustion!

Toy Basket

My friend Sadie has some pictures on her blog with her toy basket, so I thought I'd show you mine too. Lately, I much prefer crawling into the basket and sitting with the toys than just letting the toys be in there all alone.

Declan's first soccer practice

Last Saturday was my new step-brother Declan's first soccer practice. It was kind of chilly out, so Mommy dressed me in my hoodie jacket and took us all to the soccer field. Josie got to help push me in the stroller, which she figured out was much more difficult on the grass than it is on a sidewalk!

Dec did a really good job of learning how to play soccer and we all had a lot of fun!

Dinner with friends

Last weekend, we went to our friends Scott and Amy's for dinner. They have kids, so I had a ton of things to play with there! I had a really good time crawling on the floor and trying to climb on the furniture.

I got to hang out with their super-cute baby Jacob. (Isn't he adorable? Mommy says he can be my boyfriend in 30 years, but not before then...)

Then I ate some yummy food!

Then I made the biggest poopie ever!!! It went EVERYWHERE!!! Mommy even had to give me a bath because I was so yucky! (I won't post any pictures of me being poopy, just rest assured that it was super gross!)
