Apple!

Did you know that every food is an apple? Or at least that's what I call it. Anytime I want something to eat...I say "Apple!" (Sometimes I get actual apples, but Mommy says I have to eat other foods too.)

By the way...I'm sorry these videos are so dark, but you can still kinda see how cute I am, right?

Spongebob Squarepants!

Spongebob is one of my favorite shows. (After Jack's Big Music Show, of course!!!) Every time it comes on, I sing along to the theme song. Here I am singing it with Mommy.

New Trick! (Mommy Doesn't Like this One!)

Remember how excited I was that I was big enough to sit at the big kids table a couple of days ago? Well, this morning, I realized that I'm big enough to climb on top of the big kids table now, too! Mommy isn't very happy about this, because she's worried I'm going to fall off and hurt myself.
This is my "uh-oh...Mommy caught me doing something I wasn't supposed to do" look:

And this is me being super proud of myself for my expert climbing abilities:

All the Cool Babies Have Tattoos!

Okay...if you're my Grammy...please don't look at this post. Mommy knows how much you hate tattoos!
If you're anyone else, read on!
The big kids wanted to put tattoos on, so Mommy let me get a couple, too. Don't worry...they're temporary. But I look wicked cool in them! In fact, I can't stop staring at the pretty flower on my hand!

Sitting at the Big Kids Table!

I'm getting to be such a big girl! We have a table that Josie and Declan can sit at to eat, and now I'm big enough to sit at it, too! Look at me in the big girl chair!

15 Month Check Up

This week, I went to the doctor for a follow up appointment from my ear infections, and for a check up. My ears are all better, but I'm still a little grouchy.
The doctor said that I'm now 21 pounds 12 ounces, and 32 1/4 inches tall. My weight is still below the 50th percentile (which amazes Mommy, since she says I eat like a horse!!!), and my height is in the 75th percentile. So, I'm still long and lean. Mommy says I definitely don't get that from her!
The doctor was very impressed that I have such a wide vocabulary. He said most kids my age should have 5 words. He was surprised that I have almost 20! I even said "apple", "happy", "hi", "yea!!!" (with the obligatory clapping), and "Cash" while we were there. He thought cash was a funny word for a 15 month old to have, but Mommy explained that was the name of one of our dogs, and now, often when you ask me to say dog, I say "Cash" instead. :)
Oh, and Mommy hasn't posted any video of it yet, but I'm walking really great now, and trying to run sometimes. (Of course, that usually ends up in a fall, but I keep trying.)
Mommy promises to post some pictures and some video soon. She's just been a little preoccupied lately.

New look!

So, a lot of my friends have gotten new blogger layouts lately, and Mommy always gives in to peer pressure, so she helped me change the look of my blog. What do you think???

Rough Week

It's been a rough week. On Monday, Mommy and Dada went to Little Rock to see a special doctor about baby Jude that is in Mommy's tummy. (Mommy added a link to his blog in the Friend's Blogs section of my page, if you want to read more about him...)
On their way back from Little Rock, my babysitter called them to tell them I was running a fever. By the time my friend Steph got there to pick me up, it was almost 105, and when Steph checked it at my house, it was over 106. Everyone was very scared! Steph took me to the ER, and Mommy drove very fast to come and be with me.
At the ER, they were NOT nice. They took my temperature in my bottom (ouch!), took blood from my arm (more ouch!), put a catheter in me to test my peepee for infections (ouch again!) and stuck swabs up my nose and down my throat. AND, they put me in a weird contraption so they could take pictures of my lungs (Mommy called it an x-ray). It was not a fun experience. After all that, they sent me home with nothing, and told Mommy to keep my temp down and to take me to my regular doctor in the morning.
By the next morning, I was feeling a little better, and was actually pretty playful at the doctor's office. Mommy let me play with her sunglasses to keep me entertained.

After all that, we found out that I had an infection in both ears, so now I take medicine, and Mommy makes me us an inhaler when I have a hard time breathing. I'm glad that's all over with.

My mommy

I'm sorry that I haven't been posting much lately, and that I'm so far behind. Plus, I know my posts probably don't sound as upbeat as they usually do. This is because my mommy has been really sick, and is very sad because of everything that's going on right now. If you think about it, and if you're the praying kind, please keep her in your prayers. She (and I) would really appreciate it.

Lokomotion

For part of our Christmas present, Grammy got us gift certificates to Lokomotion. We went there the Sunday after Christmas. It was fun. The big kids got to ride go carts and play video games. I got to ride in fun rides, and Josie and Dec took turns riding with me. We had a great time. Thanks, Grammy, for an awesome present!

Christmas afternoon

Christmas afternoon, we went to my Aunt Beverly's house in Siloam Springs. There, I got to see my Grammy and lots of the rest of Mommy's family. We had lots of fun. I got more presents, and got to put more bows on my head.

My favorite part (besides the food and family, of course) was sitting in this rocking chair all by myself like a big girl. It was very fun!!!

Christmas morning

Christmas was much more fun for me this year than last year. Last year, I just kind of watched everything else that was going on. This year, I definitely participated. Santa left his hat at my house, so I got to wear it for a while.
Bows are my favorite part of opening presents. I like to put them in my mouth, put them on my head and say "hat", and pretty much just hold onto as many of them as I can.

I actually tore into my presents this year. Even on my birthday, I didn't think that was much fun, but for Christmas, I thought it was great.

In my stocking, Santa left this Winnie the Pooh ball. I love it! But she's already shidden it from me. I keep biting it and saying "Apple!", so she took it away. :(
