My first shots

Today was a big day. Mommy had to go to the dentist this morning, so she left me at the babysitter's for a few hours. Mommy was sad to leave me there, but I did good. When she got back to pick me up, Ms Shirley gave her a cutout of my handprint with a snowflake on it. She told Mommy that I made it for her, but I really didn't help much...Mommy was very touched. Here is a picture of it:

After that, Mommy and I went to OGC to see some of Mommy's friends, Delanna and Missy. They thought I was the cutest and sweetest baby ever!!! They fought over who got to hold me. I smiled and cooed for them.

After that was the worst part of the day. We had my two month check up at the doctor's office. I'm growing really well! I now weigh 10 pounds and 3 ounces. That's almost 2 pounds more than I weighed when I was born! I'm in the 50th percentile for my age on weight, which is right where I need to be. My length is now over 23 inches, which puts me in the 75th percentile on height! Mommy says I'm going to be taller than Grammy by my first birthday! The doctor checked me out and said that I was perfect! My heart murmur is all gone, and everything is developing just as it should. After checking me out, I got 3 shots. They made me cry really loud, which made Mommy cry a little, too. I got over it pretty quickly, though, and I got sparkly bandaids, which is pretty cool.

Daddy has been really sick today, so tonight, Mommy went and filled in for him at the bowling league. She bowls much better ever since I've been born. She says I'm her lucky charm. I slept a lot of the time we were at the bowling alley, but I did stay awake long enough to see my uncle Chris and aunt Kentrina.

Except for the shots, I had a really good day.
